So I was on twitter, when the thought came to me to write to my followers about doing appreciation list.
Now, being someone that does not give advise unless I have done it myself, I then sat down and started to write my own list. Appreciations lists allow me to stop and think about the things that have manifested in my life, I find when I am done I feel excited, eager, and most importantly happy about what my life has in it. So when I write I don’t really try to think about it, I just sort of let the words flow out of me on to the page. It does not take long, doing this post took longer than writing out my list!
Then I thought, why not post my list? This is simply because not all appreciation lists are so private they can’t be shared and enjoyed by others. Maybe something on my list triggers something for you that you might not have thought of. So here is my unabridged appreciation list for today, some things might make sense to you and some might not, but that’s ok….
My home in Middleburgh,
the beaches of Cape Cod,
my husband’s support,
my husband’s love in his eyes,
my friends,
my cat friend Sammy,
my reconnecting to my animal communication abilities,
Teaching people new things,
peonies,
Reiki,
Bach flowers,
my ipod,
my car,
my aunt Sheila,
my mother and all she has given to me,
my father and his love,
my website,
my blog,
my ideas that I have, asking,
being,
loving,
the squirrels that try to get into the house (they REALLY show me what I don’t want),
the contrast that life brings!
abraham-hicks,
knowing that the beings on this planet ALL have their own creator force inside of them,
cappuccino in the morning,
German bread,
my beauty,
my career,
living in Germany,
living in the States,
my computer I LOVE my computer!
Now, I banged this out in 5 minutes, but then got the feeling like it was enough, my emotions were up and I felt great.
I am sure that if I think about it I could put a lot more on the list. But I don’t think that is the point, I think that thinking about it too much, makes me feel like am talking myself into something. So these lists don’t have to be a certain length, just keep writing til it feels like the right time to stop.
Just let the words and then appreciations flow out of you.
