Today’s Power Animal Oracle Card…Horse

I thought that it would be fun to share my daily animal spirit guide cards with you.

I use 2 decks when I work with animal spirit guides, there are many, many different and wonderful decks out there, but the ones that are near and dear to my heart are the Power Animal Oracle Cards by Steven Farmer or Medicine Cards by Jamie Sams & David Carson. The cards help me to focus and receive guidance for what I need to know for the day.

Today’s Power Animal Oracle Card….Horse

What does this card mean to me? Letting your inner being, your inner spirit run wild and free. Embrace and KNOW our own power as creators of or own lives, and to honor it. Run free, do things that make your heart sing! That make your pulse pound with the unknowing and the unpredictability that life brings your way.

For me personally horses are extremely special and meaningful. I found out a long time ago that Horse is my spirit guide that represents my female side (that is left side of our bodies).  I also wrote a story in which horse was appointed, by the Creator, to be the holder of the moon. The Story I wrote I called “The Telling of the Stars, the Sun & the Moon” It is on my website simply click the title to read it.
So what does Horse mean to you?

  1. I pulled the Seal animal card today – what do you intepret this as the meaning

  2. Hi Julie,
First thanks for visiting the site, it’s nice to meet you.
Seal could be telling you that you need to get in touch with your playful side. That you maybe taking life a little too seriously.
Seal could also be saying that now is the time to take the opportunity and dive into the things you want to begin about in your life, to just “go for it” with gusto and pure joy in doing it. It maybe time for you to visit the ocean drink in the smells the sights and the sounds of it all.

I would also look into getting a book on animal spirit guides, there are many of them out there, which would be good for beginners. One of my favorites is “Animal Sprit Guides” by Steven Farmer.
    Thanks for your question.

  3. i also got the seal card. (i have also been told my spirit animal is the seal) i read what you said earlier and i realized, you perfectly described my attitude towards life. i do take life too seriously. i act like if one thing in life goes wrong, my life is ruined. i have also been a little too inward, i think. i sit in a corner and mentally beat myself up for all the things i supposedly did to ruin my existence. i know my spirit animal is a seal. how can i call on it? do you think i could change? do you think my case is hopeless? i need help? could you…?

  4. Hi Jesse, Great to meet you,
I believe that anyone can do anything that they want to and I don’t believe any being is hopeless. So do I think you can change your mindset from negative to positive…YES! Will it be overnight? probably not because the beating yourself up has been going on for a while and it can take a little while to change it. but HERE’S the thing…simply you taking the time to read the post and then writing this comment, your awareness of the “issue” has shifted it. AND THAT IS REALLY GOOD! So pat yourself on the back and realize how big that is. What animal guides can do is they can be reminders to us (like my case with seal) that we should become more aware of how life should be lived, they show us how we should treat ourselves and others. Call on seal (by simply saying something like “I call on the playfulness of seal in this situation”) when you need to see the fun or humor in a situation. Call on Seal for family issues (they are very family oriented). Or simply call on seal to teach you how to laugh at yourself without judgment. Take care, thanks for your comment and enjoy your time getting to know seal.

  5. Hi Coryelle,

A beautiful, white horse, came to me (many yearsago) during a meditation
as I was seeking clarity about ending a relationship.

  6. Hi Catherine, for me personally horse is one of my spirit guides, and to me many times they represent a freedom, and living the life to the fullest. Sounds like you knew (many years ago) exactly what horse was saying to you. I thank you for sharing it.
